We treat both benign and malignant diseases of the colon and rectum. Using a multimodality approach with our colleagues in gastroenterology, oncology, and radiation oncology, we specialize in surgical techniques that save the sphincters and allow patients to live without an ostomy bag. In some cases, surgery can be performed using a minimally invasive approach with the laparoscope (camera) and small incisions.
